Transport and communication

Arriving by plane:

If you land at the Leonardo da Vinci Airport (known as Fiumicino Airport (FCO)), Rome, you can get to the hotel either by the hotel Shuttle bus (see at the bottom of this page for details) or you can take the direct train ("Leonardo Da Vinci express") to Roma Termini railway station  (14 euro and 25 min) and from there, take the train line "Roma-Cerveteri-Ladispoli" and get off the train at Aurelia Station. Go to your left hand side, walk 200 meters and turn the second on the right.

If you land at the Ciampino Airport, Rome, take the bus (4-6 euro 25 min.) to Roma termini railway station and from there, take the train line "Roma-Cerveteri-Ladispoli" and get off the train at Aurelia Station. Go to your left hand side, walk 200 meters and turn the second on the right.

By train:

From Roma Termini railway station, take the train line "Roma-Cerveteri-Ladispoli" and get off the train at Aurelia Station. Go to your left hand side, walk 200 meters and turn the second on the right.
Train frequency: every hour
Travelling time: 25 minutes costs 0,90 euro

By car:

By car from the G.R.A. – Grande Raccordo Anulare – exit n° 1 Aurelio Centro/Città del Vaticano. After 1,5 km, (just before the pedestrian flyover), turn right and follow the sign to SUMMIT ROMA HOTEL.

By car from downtown direction Via Aurelia/G.R.A. and just before reaching the G.R.A invert your direction by following the indications towards Roma center, Aurelio, Città del Vaticano, then after 1,5 km, (just before the pedestrian flyover), turn right and follow the sign to SUMMIT ROMA HOTEL.

By taxi:

Rome is a chaotic city with a lot of traffic and although the hotel is well linked to airports and to the city center we still think that the taxi is the best way to move. From Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) approximate driving time is 30 minutes and distance is 25 kilometers (16 miles).

If you place your time of arrival in the forums then there is a chance for other particpants to join, which makes it cheaper and more fun. There is also a chance that Tangocamp can combine picking up staff with your arrival.
